Alki Art Fair Seeking Sponsors for Event

The Alki Art Fair Board of Directors approved a sponsorship structure for the Alki Art Fair 2013. As all of the costs of producing the Fair now fall upon the current organization and not the City of Seattle, the Board of Directors determined that sponsors will be required for continuation of the event. The organization will be paying for park and bathhouse rental, vehicle access, event insurance, special event permits, stage and chair rentals, and promotion all of which exceed the fees paid by artist and food vendors. The Board of Directors determined that charging vendor fees to cover these incurred costs would be economically unfeasible for vendors and the viability of the fair.
