Performance Application

All information must be provided in order to be considered. Applications are now open for submission and bookings will commence immediately. Applications will be closed when all slots are confirmed booked. We encourage artistic expression and look forward to reviewing your submission.

  • PERFORMING ARTIST MATERIALS

    If you are accepted, the Alki Art Fair will display the performing artist’s name, image and links on the Fair website, and may also include it in other social media and printed materials. By submitting images and links, applicants and performing artists grant the Alki Art Fair unrestricted license to use the links, audio and images to market the Alki Art Fair and its related performances.

  • Provide 3 performance sample links, 2 of which should be live performances.

  • Complete at least 3 of the social media fields below.

  • • Applicants must submit 3 images.
    • Submitted images should be a minimum 1,000 x 1,000px.
    • Max file size is 3MB.
    • Files must be JPEG/JPG or GIF.
    • File names MUST include the performing artists' name s (example: Performer_Name_1.jpg). PLEASE RENAME YOUR PHOTOS.

    NOTE: The Alki Art Fair may also review your website and social accounts for other photo options.

  • The statement you provide may be used in Alki Art Fair marketing materials, including the website. Alki Art Fair reserves the right to edit for brevity.
  • Short sentence (about 5-8 words) that describes your music/performance.
  • Please provide a brief bio that describes your performance(s), where you are located, inspirations, recognition you’ve received, what’s distinctive about your performance(s). (500 character max).

  • APPLICATION AGREEMENT AND RELEASE

    Please read carefully below before agreeing to our terms and conditions regarding your application and participation in the Alki Art Fair. You will be asked to submit your electronic signature at the bottom of the agreement.
  • Promotion It is expected that applicants selected to perform will actively cross-promote their performance and the Alki Art Fair on social media and mailing lists at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
  • Photos. The Alki Art Fair reserves the right to use any submitted photos in future advertising.
  • Recordings/Photos at the Event. Selected performing artists agree to allow the Alki Art Fair to photograph, record, or videotape any performances that occur in connection with the event and to use such material and other materials related to my (our) performance for promotional, marketing, archival, educational and/or fundraising purposes only, for all media in perpetuity. Any contemplated commercial uses shall require the mutual written consent of both parties.
  • Liability. The Alki Art Fair will not be responsible for any loss or damage to a vendor’s property, injury to, or death of the vendor (or its employees, representatives, and contractors), or vendor sales. Vendor expressly assumes all risks of loss, damage, liability, injury, or destruction resulting from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to acts or omissions by Vendor, the Fair, or acts of nature, and hereby releases and waives any claims against the Alki Art Fair (and its employees, representatives, and contractors) related to such loss, damage, liability, injury, and/or destruction.
  • Contract. If selected, applicants will receive a Performance Agreement for the scheduled performance, which must be timely signed and returned in order to have official booking to perform at the Alki Art Fair. The performer(s) agree to abide by state and local labor standards as well as the technical specifications of the stage.
  • Seattle Parks and Recreation 10% Fee. Seattle Parks and Recreation requires Alki Art Fair to collect 10% of gross sales from performing artists who sell merchandise. This fee is required for any sales on Seattle Parks and Recreation property. Performer(s) must pay this fee to the Fair Treasurer before departing the event of the day.
  • Cancellations. The Alki Art Fair will proceed rain or shine.
  • City of Seattle Parks User Agreement. All applicants are required to read and agree to Parks User Agreement.
